A desk jockey who wears many hats, some of which include bookkeeping, human resources, sys-admining, webmastering and generally everything that comes with running an office for an industrial construction concern that’s also my family’s business. Prior to this, I have had jobs in telecom, industrial sales, and formerly a career in mortgage lending.
I’ve had a passion for computers, software, the web, and the whole culture thereof that goes back to Windows 95/NT & dial-up, but my first exposure was on Apple ][s in grade school and a hand-me-down Commodore 64 when I was 14 (It was already 10 years old!) I’ve been a Linux hobbyist since 2006. I post a lot of banal silliness on twitter. I have an unfortunate tendency to comment seriously on some websites. I use a Nexus Android but occasionally still use my old iPhone too.
In my younger days, I was DJ/promoter and released a 12″ jungle record and a couple of DnB tracks that appeared on some wide-release CD compilations under the name DJ Flow. Despite an EDM background, I can play guitar and was raised on classic rock and the blues. I also used to be really obsessed with magic. Spinchange is the name of a quick but miraculous looking visual card trick when done right.
I have an awesome wife and 3 young boys with a 4th on the way. I don’t get out much anymore, but still enjoy meeting and hanging out with cool people on the web. Feel free to drop me a line.
